Got a question about BRINK? Now is the time to ask. Together with Brink developers, Splash Damage, BRINKish.eu are happy to arrange an exclusive official Brink community Q&A to our readers. Read on to find out how to make your submission.
Have you ever had the feeling that most Q&A’s share one common thing? – It’s the same old questions. Let’s change that shall we. As the first Brink dedicated news site BRINKish.eu turns their visitors (that’s right – You!) to the interviewer. It’s now up to You to ask the questions that eventually will turn out to be an exclusive and official Brink community Q&A or if you so like – a community interview with Brink developer Splash Damage.
To submit your question, send an e-mail to info@brinkish.eu with the subject “Brink community Q&A” and write your question (or questions) in the message.
You got until February 28 2010 to submit your questions. After that the questions will be handed over to Splash Damage and the end result will later be presented here on BRINKish.eu.
Disclaimer: For obvious reasons BRINKish can’t promise that your question will be answered as we expect there will be hundreds of them. But don’t let this scare you off.

awsome work. im gonna send you a question!
Hey guys been a very very big fan of your work and now I think your going to blow everybodies mind with Brink…can’t wait!!!
Is the Monorail operational and does it take players from map to map?
Thanks guys…You Rock
Sampson
@Sampson: To make your submission please e-mail your question to info@brinkish.eu with the subject saying “Brink community Q&A” :)
Also, try to perhaps be slightly more clear what you want with your question, i.e. explain what you mean with the monorail (makes it easier for both the readers and the guy who’s supposed to answer your question).
Cheers
Here are some questions. Will try to think of some more.
1. I know that the challenges of both presenting at E3 and simultaneously maintaining developement momentum must be very challenging. Are SD and Brink going to have a presence at E3 2010? If so, what can we expect (e.g., where will the focus of the presentation be – on the narrative of the game, or the class-based MP, the tech, the world etc.) ?
2. Triple A games are selling in numbers never experienced before. With the sheer number of gamers pushing these games to the limits, exploits and bugs, especially for the console versions (certification time required for patches), are becoming serious issues for the games’ after-sales success. I have read that Splash Damage does not at this time, intend to release a beta. What kind of game testing and quality control does SD have access to (e.g., a lab of 50 qualified game testers going 24/7 for 3 months)? Is there anything we can do to convince Bethesda (and Splash Damage) that it is in their best interest to put out a beta, even a brief, beta limited to several hundred exclusive beta tickets?
3. Will Brink feature narrative told through in-game computer terminals, or audio files, or documents scattered about throughout the levels? How will the narrative be told?
4. In a GamesRadar article, there was mention of the dedicated servers. I will be playing mostly with my North American friends via XBL, and I myself am in Japan. Will all the servers for the console version be based in Europe? Where will the servers be located?
5. Describe your relationship with Bethesda.
6. What is the most exciting feature/tech/art that you saw in the development room this week?
7. What efforts is Splash Damage going to, to ensure that there is humor in the game? Or is this important?
I have an additional question for my #2 topic above:
What measures is Splash Damage taking to ensure the game is released as stable and exploit/bug free as possible?
@3suns: Make sure you make your submission trough e-mail (aswell). Send your question to info@brinkish.eu with the subject saying “Brink community Q&A” :)
Cheers dude
Hey SD,
I was a big fan of ET:QW and was wondering what the mod support (if any) will be like for Brink.
Also, how many voice packs are being implemented as I’d love to be voice for an Irish guy? :))
is there knifes in the game and can u disarm people and then as a option during the disarming animation you knife them? that would be cool
and please add the ability to play music from the consoles play-list while you play online and solo
ALSO if you take alot of damage and survive does that effect ur look like scars or ur clothes get bullet holes or dirt to add that extra animation? that it’s a civial war and when will female charcters be added because my sister wants to play this she just wants to know
for the customization aspect can you add different skin types from halo or call of duty gears lost planet or anime too dbz, naruto sharingan eyes to add that extra depth in customizing ur look, stuff from other TV shows or games would be cool
what guns will be in the game?
how many players will it support up to 32 , 18 ? and will there be silencers?
Thanks
